Pertamina EP Cepu Regional Indonesia Timur (PEPC), a subsidiary of Indonesia’s Pertamina, secured two major accolades at the Asian Management Excellence Awards 2025. The company was recognized for the leadership of its President Director, Muhamad Arifin, and its ATRAKTIF lifestyle intervention programme.
Under Arifin’s leadership, PEPC achieved production milestones of 84,902 barrels of oil per day and 653.37 MMSCFD of gas, marking a 108 per cent increase in gas production from the previous year. The company also drilled eight development wells and four exploration wells while maintaining operations without workplace accidents. Additionally, Arifin has implemented 131 CSR programmes benefiting local communities. His contributions earned him the Indonesia Executive of the Year – Oil & Gas award.
