The Governments of Cebu and Malaysia have announced plans to assist in Cebu City’s infrastructure projects, including dam construction and mass transportation. These projects will be developed in a public-private partnership (PPP) model where Malaysia’s government or private investors could participate. Further discussions are expected when Malaysian representatives return.
Additionally, a delegation from Yokohama, Japan, visited Cebu City for a City-to-City collaboration project, bringing investors focused on reducing carbon footprints through solar technology.
