KAB Energy Holdings Sdn Bhd (KABEH), a subsidiary of Kinergy Advancement Bhd (KAB) has partnered with Perbadanan Kemajuan Negeri Perak (PKNPk) to develop 29 renewable energy (RE) projects in Perak with a combined capacity exceeding 1,800MW in Malaysia. This initiative aligns with Perak Sejahtera 2030’s sustainability goals and aims to strengthen the state’s energy resilience.

KAB’s executive deputy chairman, Datuk Lai Keng Onn, stated that the partnership would accelerate sustainable energy infrastructure development in Perak, reinforcing its role in Malaysia’s renewable energy transition. PKNPk’s chief executive, Datuk Redza Rafiq Abdul Razak, highlighted the collaboration’s potential to harness hydropower and solar energy, advancing clean energy adoption in the region.
