PJD Link (M) Sdn Bhd has secured RM922 million in funding to build the Petaling Jaya Dispersal Link (PJD Link Expressway) in Malaysia. A head of agreement (HoA) has been signed with MCC Overseas (M) Sdn Bhd (MCC Malaysia), appointing the company as the engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contractor of the expressway project.
Remaining funding for the project will be raised through the sukuk market.
The PJD Link Expressway is a 25.4-km-long expressway featuring four lanes. The Link will be 90 per cent elevated. It will be key in alleviating traffic congestion in the Greater Kuala Lumpur and Klang Valley area.
