Construction works on four key road projects in Vietnam are set to commence in late June 2023. The first project to break ground will be the 188-km-long Chau Doc-Can Tho-Soc Trang Expressway, with work scheduled to start on 17 June 2023. The highway project connecting Chau Doc City, Can Tho City and Soc Trang Province will be split into four components. Total cost is estimated at VND44.69 trillion.
Other projects include the 76-km-long HCMC Beltway No. 3, linking Khanh Hoa Province and Buon Ma Thuot City and an expressway between Bien Hoa City and Vung Tau City in south Vietnam.
The HCMC Beltway No. 3 project is estimated to cost VND75.4 trillion and will be split into three components. Meanwhile, the first phase of the 53.7-km-long Bien Hoa-Vung Tau Expressway is expected to cost VND6 trillion, with works set to commence on 18 June 2023.
