Construction on the HiepThanh wind power project began on February 28, 2020, in Vietnam’s TraVinh province. The project that entails an investment of VND 3.37 trillion will have a total designed capacity of 78 MW. It is expected to be completed by 2021. Around 20 per cent of the project’s total investment will come from its investor EcotechTraVinh Energy Joint Stock Company and the balance has been borrowed from the Netherlands’ Climate International One investment fund and South Korea’s Samtan International Company.
