Construction work on the VND 5.32 trillion QuocVinhSocTrang wind power project began in Vietnam’s southern province of SocTrang on March 5, 2020. This is the second wind power plant to be built in the province since the beginning of 2020. QuocVinh Company Limited is the main investor in the project that will have a total capacity of 129 MW. In the first phase, the project will have a designed capacity of 30 MW and involve an investment of VND 1.42 trillion. The first phase is expected to be completed in 2021.The second phase has a designed capacity of 99 MW and is expected to involve an investment of VND 3.9 trillion.Construction on the second phase will begin when all requirements are met.
