Malaysia-based telecom operator Celcom Axiata is planning to invest RM 950 million in network coverage expansion. The operator intends to invest RM 400 million for the roll-out of 2,014 long term evolution-compatible base transceiver stations by end-2014. Celcom will continue to implement its network optimisation programme to improve overall network performance, reducing the number of dropped calls and enhancing its network coverage.
