The Department of Transportation (DOTr) and SM Prime Holdings Incorporation have started the construction of the first of three busway concourses along EDSA in the Philippines. Completion is scheduled for the Q3 of 2024. Works will be carried out in partnership with the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH), the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) and the Government of Quezon City.
The first phase of the EDSA Busway Concourse will be built at SM North EDSA to offer commuters convenient access to the EDSA Busway. Each concourse will feature a concierge, ticketing booths and turnstiles for the automatic fare collection system. It will also be equipped with ramps and elevators for easy access.
