Tan Hooi Ling and Clare Gilmartin
Digital payments fintech Wise, formerly known as Transferwise, has announced that it has appointed two new director designates – Grab’s co-founder Tan Hooi Ling and Trainline former CEO Clare Gilmartin – to its board to help with the firm’s next stage of growth. Tan and her team’s experience in expanding Grab into a “super app” across eight countries in Southeast Asia will help Wise as it brings its services to more markets, especially in Asia Pacific. Besides, Gilmartin’s experience at Trainline, a UK-based online rail ticketing platform, will help as Wise scales its operations and services even further to meet the needs of its diversified product and global audiences.
