The Willowbrook Company, a renewable energy developer, plans to secure financing for the development of the Reah solar power plant in Cambodia. The total installed capacity of the project will be 250 MW. It will entail a total investment of $400 million. The investment per MW will be approximately $1.6 million. The Reah solar power plant is expected to take up an area of 500 hectares and it will have the capacity to generate some 394 million kWh annually. The project is scheduled to commence in 2015 and is expected to be completed by the end of 2017. The construction of the plant, however, is subject to the approval of the Cambodian government.
