Vietnamese operator VNPT has connected its mobile number portability gateway system to the national network switching centre. Vietnamese mobile operators VinaPhone (a member of VNPT Group), Viettel and MobiFone will officially allow their subscribers to switch their provider without changing their number. The operators are still waiting for formal detailed guidance regarding fees for number storage, registration, service provision procedure, and number maintaining.
