Vingroup’s Green and Smart Mobility (GSM) JSC has introduced its Xanh SM electric taxi service in Jakarta, marking the first electric taxi fleet in Indonesia. This initiative aims to meet the growing transportation demand during the holiday season while supporting the country’s green transition goals. The service is part of Indonesia’s broader strategy to achieve net-zero emissions by 2060.
The launch event was attended by key government officials and international ambassadors, highlighting the potential for investment in green mobility and job creation.
