The Vietnam Maritime Corporation (VIMC), a key enterprise of Vietnam’s maritime industry, was recognised for being among the winners of the Top 10 Vietnam Gold Star Award 2024. This achievement highlights VIMC’s strong position in the maritime transport industry and its efforts to enhance maritime transport capacity and port infrastructure development. Moreover, VIMC has strengthened the status of Vietnam’s port sector through the development of major ports such as Tan Vu port in Haiphong and Cai Mep port in Ba Ria-Vung Tau.
VIMC is focused on undertaking modern port infrastructure development projects. It also aims to effectively use information technology to manage its operations and formulate sustainable development strategies for long-term growth. It is implementing a variety of innovative port projects in addition to developing high quality human resources.
