Viettel (Cambodia) Private Limited or Metfone, a subsidiary of Vietnam-based telecom group Viettel, has acquired Beeline Cambodia. Beeline Cambodia is the fourth largest telecom service provider in the country. Beeline will now shift all current SIM cards to the Metfone system and its scratch cards will also be invalidated. Users of Beeline are expected to benefit from the takeover as they will now have access to Viettel’s advanced services like 4G technology.
