Vietnam-based operator Vietnamobile is planning to expand its 3G network for meeting the growing demand for mobile data services in the country. Since 3G services are currently limited to only 12 cities and provinces, the operator will roll out the network to cover all 63 cities. Vietnamobile launched its commercial 3G services in December 2011 in Ho Chi Minh City, Da Nang and Hanoi. Since then, the network coverage has been expanded to the Ba Ria-Vung Tau, An Giang, Khanh Hoa, Binh Thuan, Dong Thap, Long An, Dong Nai, Thai Nguyen and Binh Duong regions.
