Fitri Abdullah has been appointed as Country Managing Director for Malaysia at Vantage Data Centres, a newly created role within its Asia-Pacific leadership team. In this role, Abdullah will lead the company’s Malaysia operations and support the expansion of its hyperscale data centre portfolio in the country.
Abdullah brings more than 30 years of experience across the technology and communications sectors, with leadership expertise spanning cloud computing, systems integration and IT services. Prior to joining Vantage, he served as Managing Director of Oracle Corporation Malaysia for nine years, where he led the company’s transition into a cloud service provider in the Malaysian market.
Earlier in his career, Abdullah held senior leadership roles at Mesiniaga Bhd and Maxis Bhd, overseeing enterprise business growth and operational transformation. He also worked with Hewlett-Packard in consulting and systems integration roles across the Asia-Pacific region.
