Vanda RE Private Limited, a joint venture (JV) led by Gurīn Energy, has secured a conditional license from the Energy Market Authority (EMA) to supply 300 MW of solar power to Singapore. This energy will be sourced from a larger project, the Vanda Solar & Battery Project, which will have a total capacity of 2,000 MW of solar power and 4,400 MWh of battery storage.
The project is expected to commence commercial operations by 2028 and aims to power 390,000 households in Singapore. The license was granted due to the project’s technical and commercial viability.
