V-Green Indonesia and PT HK Realtindo (HKR) have signed a cooperation agreement to develop an integrated EV Charging Hub in Kemayoran, Central Jakarta. The partnership aims to establish a large-scale EV charging model and support the development of Indonesia’s green mobility infrastructure.
Under the agreement, V-Green Indonesia will lease an 8,747-square-metre site owned by HKR for the development of the charging hub. The site-based model is intended to enable V-Green to expand its charging network while allowing landowners to generate long-term value from underutilised land assets.
The Kemayoran EV Charging Hub is scheduled to commence operations in October 2026. It will feature 36 EV chargers and 20 battery-swapping stations for electric motorcycles, with capacity to serve up to 56 electric cars and 220 electric motorcycles simultaneously. The facility will also include dedicated parking for commercial fleets, rooftop solar panels, rest areas, food and beverage outlets and cafés. The integrated model is designed to serve private EV owners, commercial fleet operators and ride-hailing drivers at a single location.
The agreement follows a memorandum of understanding signed between V-Green Indonesia and Hutama Karya Group in April 2026. Under the MoU, the companies agreed to explore EV Charging Hubs on Hutama Karya’s strategic land assets and collaborate on EV charging infrastructure across 29 rest areas along the Trans-Sumatra Toll Road.
V-Green plans to deploy EV chargers across the 29 rest areas in the next phase, creating a charging network along the Trans-Sumatra Toll Road to support long-distance EV travel. The Kemayoran facility is expected to serve as a flagship model that V-Green can replicate at other strategic locations associated with HK Group. The partnership also supports the wider development of EV infrastructure and transport electrification in Indonesia.
Globally, V-Green operates a charging network comprising more than 150,000 charging ports, alongside battery-swapping infrastructure for electric motorcycles. In Indonesia, the company has introduced incentives including free charging for VinFast electric car owners and a one-year complimentary battery-swapping programme for VinFast electric motorcycles, with up to 20 battery swaps per vehicle per month.
