Thailand-based operator True Corporation is planning to sell a 25 per cent stake via the issuance of new equity shares in the second half of 2014. The operator intends to utilise the proceeds to expand its operations in the Southeast Asian region. It is targeting 100 million subscribers in the region within five years: it expects to conclude its first partnership deal with Myanmar’s Yatanarpon Teleport within two months.
