TransJakarta has announced plans to introduce 400 new buses, including 200 electric buses, by the end of 2024 in Indonesia. This move is expected to increase the number of daily passengers by around 8,000. The new buses will help transport 200,000 passengers daily.
Also, the company has already surpassed its initial target of 1.25 million passengers per day, reaching 1.3 million by August 2024, and now aims for 1.7 million passengers daily by the end of 2024. The goal will be supported by the addition of new routes, including those inactive since the COVID-19 pandemic.
