PetroVietnam Power Corporation (PV Power) has partnered with South Korea-based EN Technologies Incorporation to develop electric vehicle (EV) charging stations in Vietnam. This initiative supports the country’s shift toward clean energy and reducing pollution. The first pilot station will be set up on Huynh Thuc Khang Street in Hanoi, featuring two standing chargers with a combined capacity of 100-120 kW. The project is expected to cost around VND1.8 billion and is expected to be operational by September 2024.
Additionally, PV Power plans to expand the project with two more pilot stations on Tran Duy Hung Street, Hanoi. If successful, the company aims to install 1,000 charging stations across Vietnam by 2035.
