TransJakarta, a municipally-owned land transport company, has built three key integration stops to facilitate the mobility of passengers travelling on the buses in the capital city of Indonesia. The three stops are located in Harmoni, Cakra Selaras Wahana (CSW), and UKI (Indonesian Christian University).
Additionally, there is scope for the sites to become a transit centre in the future, especially the CSW bus stop, which will accommodate the South Jakarta to UKI routes. Meanwhile, the operator also plans to extend the Harmoni bus stop from 26 to 70 metres in collaboration with PT Moda Raya Terpadu (MRT). Work is expected to take four to six months to complete.
By the end of 2023, TransJakarta plans to refurbish around 72 bus stops in the city.
