The Land Transportation Office (LTO) Region 1 in the Philippines has partnered with Toyota Philippines Corporation to advance the modernisation of public transport in the region. This collaboration involves the introduction of a new Multi-Purpose Public Utility Vehicle (MPUV).
The initiative aligns with the vision of the Department of Transportation (DOTr), focusing on enhancing public transportation services. The introduction of the MPUV is a key part of the government’s Public Utility Vehicle Modernization Program, aimed at providing safer, more comfortable, and efficient travel options for commuters in Region 1.
