TotalEnergies and RGE, through their joint venture (JV) Singa Renewables, have entered into a Co-Investment Agreement to develop, build, and operate a solar photovoltaic (PV) power plant integrated with a battery energy storage system (BESS) in Indonesia’s Riau Province. The project marks a significant step in enhancing renewable energy capacity in the region.
The agreement was officially signed on May 28, 2025, at the Presidential Palace in Jakarta, in the presence of Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto and French President Emmanuel Macron. Their attendance signals strong bilateral support for the initiative, which aligns with both nations’ goals for sustainable energy collaboration and carbon reduction.
