The Competition Commission of Singapore (CCS) has appointed Toh H.L. as CEO. He will replace Yena Lim, whose term ended on September 30, 2013. Toh, a legal service officer, has served as Assistant CEO for Legal and Enforcement at CCS since 2009. He has also represented CCS as its counsel before the Competition Appeal Board in every appeal.
Prior to joining CCS in 2009, he had worked in various positions in the public sector, which included Justices’ Law Clerk to the Chief Justice and the Court of Appeal of Singapore, as well as Deputy Public Prosecutor and State Counsel. Toh has also served in several tribunals including the Military Court of Appeal and the Copyright Tribunal.
