The Commission for the Management of State Capital at Enterprises (CMSC) of Vietnam has invited China State Construction Engineering Corporation (CSCEC) to support its USD67 billion high-speed railway (HSR).
CSCEC expressed interest in aligning with Vietnam’s standards and timelines. The Government of Vietnam aims to begin construction on two railway sections by 2027 for the 1,541-km-long project, which will connect 23 passengers and five cargo stations.
