The Ministry of Transport of Malaysia has announced plans to merge the My50 public transport pass with the Touch ‘n Go (TnG) eWallet, facilitating digital renewals for users. This integration is scheduled to be completed by year-end, enhancing convenience for commuters and minimizing queues at LRT stations.
The My50 pass has grown significantly since its 2019 launch, with 226,000 active users as of September 2024, up from 98,000 initially. The initiative aims to support affordable daily commutes, costing less than RM2 per day within its 30-day validity.
