The Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources of Indonesia has allocated a budget of IDR186.9 trillion to energy subsidies in 2024. Of the total budget, IDR113.3 trillion is allocated for fuel and liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) subsidies meanwhile, IDR73.6 trillion is allocated for electricity subsidies.

Additionally, the ministry also aims to open at least 100 one-price fuel distribution agents in 2024 to realise fuel price equality across the country.
