Thai Smile Bus (TSB) has announced a 2026 strategy focused on advancing public bus operations under a Green Mobility framework, aimed at improving service quality, operational efficiency and sustainability across Thailand’s urban bus network.

The operator currently runs more than 1,600 buses per day and is targeting an average daily ridership of around 450,000 passengers. Key measures include workforce upskilling, tighter safety standards, and wider use of digital tools to enhance passenger experience. TSB plans to expand the functionality of its TSB Go Plus+ application to support trip planning, loyalty features and carbon-saving incentives.

Beyond regular passenger services, TSB is also expanding into B2B and B2G segments, including contracted transport services for universities and government agencies, to diversify revenue sources. The initiative aligns with Thailand’s broader sustainable transport objectives, with TSB positioning its electric and low-emission bus operations as a benchmark for modern public transport systems in the region.
