A memorandum of understanding (MoU) has been signed between TH Heavy Engineering Bhd (THHE), a subsidiary of Urusharta Jamaah Sdn Bhd, and MTD Capital Bhd to co-develop civil infrastructure and engineering projects in Malaysia as well as international markets.
Both firms will collaborate on a number of projects announced by the Government of Malaysia as part of the 12th Malaysia Plan (12MP), with an initial planned order book of RM1 billion over the next few years.
The partnership will leverage MTD’s technological expertise to complete high-impact infrastructure projects. MTD’s technological expertise will be used to complete high-impact infrastructure projects as part of the agreement. MTD has executed a total of RM5.9 billion in infrastructure projects in Malaysia till date including the KL-Karak Highway, East Coast Expressway (Phase 1 and part of Phase 2), viaduct works for MRT Lines 1 (Package V7) and 2 (Package V208C), and the Penang Second Bridge Project.
