Singapore-based Union Gas Holdings has appointed Teo Hark Piang as the chief executive officer (CEO) of the company. Earlier, Piang was associated with the Union Energy Corporation (UEC), a company involved in the manufacture of gas, distribution of gaseous fuels through mains, and the general wholesale trade. He still holds a directorship at the UEC and has a 12.55 per cent shareholding interest in the company but is not involved in the day-to-day operations since November 2018.
