Tech Data has been appointed as a distributor for CloudCasa by Catalogic Software in Singapore and Malaysia, expanding its existing distribution relationship beyond Australia and New Zealand.

The agreement will give Tech Data’s channel partners in both markets access to CloudCasa’s Kubernetes data protection, disaster recovery and workload migration solutions. The platform is designed for organisations running cloud-native applications across cloud, edge and data centre environments.

CloudCasa uses specialised tools to protect Kubernetes-based workloads, with features including multi-tenancy, file-level recovery, role-based access control and container storage support across hybrid environments. The solution is available through both software-as-a-service and self-hosted deployment models.

The expansion comes as organisations in Singapore and Malaysia increase investment in cloud, AI and digital infrastructure, driving demand for specialised approaches to protecting and recovering containerised applications. Tech Data will make CloudCasa available through its network of resellers, managed service providers, systems integrators and enterprise partners.

Tech Data will also provide technical support, local market coverage and partner enablement, with its Tech Centre of Excellence helping partners develop capabilities and services around cloud-native data resilience. The partnership forms part of Catalogic Software’s wider Asia-Pacific expansion strategy, with Singapore and Malaysia identified as markets where Kubernetes adoption is increasing alongside application modernisation. Tech Data’s regional partner ecosystem is expected to help extend CloudCasa’s reach among enterprise customers.
