Terasu Energy Incorporated has been granted permission by the Energy Regulatory Commission (ERC) to link its 40 MW solar power facility in Tarlac to the Luzon grid in Philippines. Terasu Energy can now build and own separate transmission facilities to connect its power plant to a 69 kV substation owned by ERC.  The transmission link will be operated and maintained by the National Grid Corporation of the Philippines (NGCP).

Apart from the 69 kV transmission line, Terasu Energy’s approved transmission project will include a 45 MVA power transformer, a 69 kV switch bay which will be installed next to the NGCP substation and security, metering and telecommunication equipment. The combined cost of all the facilities is expected to be around PHP44 million.
