The Department of Transportation (DOTr) of Philippines has officially launched a 54.7 km bike lane network in Davao City, extending the current bike lane network in Davao City, Metro Manila, and Metro Cebu. The Bayanihan to Recover as One Act (Bayanihan 2) provided funding for the Metro Davao bike lane project, which was worth nearly PHP145 million.

The DOTr expects to add 535 km of bike lanes in the country by the end of 2021. With the addition of the Davao City network, the overall existing bike lanes in Philippines is almost 497 km.
