Vietnam SuperPort has signed agreements with the Ministry of Transport (MoT) of Vietnam, China Railway, and the China Railway 16th Bureau Group Vietnam Company Limited to advance rail logistics infrastructure. The collaboration aims to enhance Vietnam’s logistics capabilities and strengthen trade ties in the region. Key initiatives include developing railway lines and terminals connected to the Vietnam SuperPort, located in Vinh Phuc province, and integrating multimodal transport solutions.

The agreements also emphasise sustainability, with Vietnam SuperPort committing to achieving net-zero emissions (NZE) by 2040. The project will position the port as a transhipment hub along the Lao Cai–Hanoi–Haiphong–Quang Ninh railway line, reducing logistics costs and improving efficiency. This strategic partnership aligns with Vietnam’s national transportation strategy and supports regional supply chain connectivity, fostering economic growth and international trade.
