Sungrow and ERS Energy have reached 1 GWh of combined energy storage projects across Malaysia and the Philippines. The portfolio includes the 441 MWh MyBeST battery energy storage system (BESS) in Bahau, Malaysia, and a 556 MWh, four-hour BESS being developed for ACEN in the Philippines.

The MyBeST project is part of Malaysia’s national large-scale energy storage initiative and is intended to support grid flexibility and solar integration. In the Philippines, the ACEN project will feature grid-forming capability and participate in the Wholesale Electricity Spot Market, enabling stored electricity to be dispatched according to market conditions and providing grid support.
