CEVA Logistics has launched a pilot programme using two fully electric Z10 autonomous vehicles developed by Zelostech at its Blue Hub facility in Singapore. The vehicles will transport heavy pallets, storage totes and other inventory across multiple floors using the facility’s existing multi-tier ramp network, with the aim of improving internal inventory movement and space utilisation.
The deployment is expected to reduce carbon dioxide emissions by at least 4,600 kg annually compared with conventional internal transport. The eight-storey, 50,000-sq-m Blue Hub already uses Goods-to-Person technology, automated guided vehicles and robotics. Operational insights from the pilot will be assessed for potential deployment of autonomous mobility solutions across CEVA Logistics’ global facilities.
