Sungrow has signed an agreement with MSR Green Energy Sdn Bhd to develop a 100 MW/400 MWh Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) project in Sabah, Malaysia. The project is valued at approximately RM645 million and is expected to enhance the region’s renewable energy (RE) capacity and grid stability.
The final capacity will be expanded to 517MWh to meet long-term needs. This collaboration aims to bring advanced grid-scale energy storage solutions to Malaysia, supporting future renewable energy projects and sustainable development in the region.
