The Mass Rapid Transit Authority of Thailand (MRTA) has delayed trial runs and the start of passenger service on Bangkok’s Yellow line as system testing is still ongoing. Trials were initially scheduled to commence in mid-May 2023, with a full launch in June 2023. A revised timeline has not been announced yet.

The Yellow Line is a 30.4 km monorail system that will connect Lat Phrao and Samut Prakan’s Samrong. The line was initially set to commence operations in October 2021 but has faced multiple delays since then.
