SP New Energy Corporation (SPNEC) has partnered with Energy China to develop its PHP200 billion Terra Solar project in Nueva Ecija and Bulacan in the Philippines.
Under the agreement, Energy China will manage design, procurement, construction, and grid integration. The project, led by SPNEC subsidiary Terra Solar Philippines Incorporation, will feature energy storage and a combined capacity of 3,500 MW, with completion phases set for 2026 and 2027. The collaboration supports the Philippines’ transition to renewable energy under MERALCO PowerGen Corporation initiatives.
