SP Mobility and ComfortDelGro Engie have secured contracts to roll out electric vehicle (EV) fast-charging hubs across public housing estates in Singapore. The contracts were awarded by EV-Electric Charging (EVe), a subsidiary of the Land Transport Authority.

The deployment will cover eight sites located in Housing & Development Board (HDB) towns and car parks near recreational facilities. Each hub will feature six to eight 50 kW fast chargers, with selected locations, such as Bukit Canberra, also including additional slow chargers.

This initiative builds on earlier contracts awarded in March and supports Singapore’s goal of installing at least one fast-charging hub in every HDB town by the end of 2027. With EV adoption accelerating, some models seeing registrations rise significantly, expanding accessible charging infrastructure has become a priority.

Authorities expect the hubs to integrate charging into daily routines, enabling drivers to recharge vehicles conveniently while at home or during routine activities. Currently, Singapore has 21 public fast-charging hubs, with around 20 more planned under upcoming deployments.
