Solarvest Holdings Bhd, a photovoltaic (PV) plants developer, has secured an engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning (EPCC) contract for the development of a 50 MW solar park in Malaysia. The contract was awarded by Classic Solar Farm Sdn Bhd and is valued at RM175 million.

The photovoltaic (PV) park will be installed in Chuping, in the state of Perlis, and will be capable of producing around 78,450 tonnes of carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions annually.

The award was secured under Malaysia’s Large Scale Solar (LSS) programme. This new contract has expanded Solarvest’s EPCC portfolio secured from the LSS scheme to around RM371 million.
