Malaysia-based Solarvest Holdings Bhd has secured 11 rooftop solar photovoltaic (PV) installation projects in Vietnam, with a combined capacity of 12.8 MWp. Solarvest will develop, finance procurement and manage the comprehensive operations and maintenance services. Further, the group is also collaborating with a local partner to deliver engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning (EPCC) services for these projects.
Moreover, Vietnam’s Ministry of Industry and Trade (MoIT) has introduced a mechanism to incentivise rooftop solar power systems which will equip half of the country’s office and residential buildings with rooftop solar panels by 2030.
The company is also expanding into sustainable solutions, including battery energy storage systems (BESS) which will enhance energy supply reliability and efficiency within its projects.
