Australia-based SMEC Holdings Limited has been appointed by the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) to provide transaction advisory services as well as establish the viability of the Central Luzon Link Expressway (CLLEX) Phase II in the Philippines.

The Government of Philippines has identified CLLEX Phase II as one of the priority public-private partnership (PPP) projects. The project is expected to cost around PHP9.19 billion and acquiring the right of way is expected to cost PHP49.32 million.

The 35.7 km expressway will link Cabanatuan City to San Jose City in Nueva Ecija and is an extension of the existing CLLEX Phase I from Tarlac to Cabanatuan City.
