Singapore Telecommunications Limited (Singtel) has announced that it will offer 5G multi-access edge computing (MEC) services to enterprises in Singapore. The Paragon Platform will allow enterprises to control their networks, edge computing capabilities, and application ecosystem, which will enable enterprises to deploy their own applications or leverage the applications from Singtel.
In addition to supporting cloud computing on the network edge, Singtel has made investments in 5G infrastructure which includes a national 5G standalone network and international data centres. Moreover, to enhance offerings, it has partnered with companies like Ericsson, Intel, Microsoft, and AWS.
