The Korea Midland Power Corporation and Posco E&C, along with local partners PT Perusahaan Listrik Negara (PLN), have commissioned the 56.6 MW Semangka hydroelectric project in Indonesia. Located in south Sumatra, the plant generates power using the discharge from the Semangka river. The plant has been equipped with turbines from Voith Hydro.
