Security Bank Corporation and its investment banking arm, Security Bank Capital Investment Corporation, have received nine awards at The Asset Triple A Sustainable Infrastructure Finance Awards 2026 for their role in financing major infrastructure projects across the energy, water and transport sectors in the Philippines. Among the top recognitions were Asia-Pacific Deal of the Year and Project Finance Deal of the Year for the P150 billion Terra Solar Philippines term loan, with Security Bank serving as lender and Security Bank Capital acting as co-arranger.
The financing supports the development of the MTerra Solar Project, which is expected to become the world’s largest integrated solar and battery storage facility. Security Bank and Security Bank Capital also received Renewable Energy Deal of the Year – Hydro for the Olympia Violago Water & Power term loan and a Highly Commended recognition for the Ahunan Power project, both involving pumped hydro facilities. In the water sector, Security Bank Capital won Water Deal of the Year for its role as domestic co-lead underwriter in Maynilad Water Services’ PHP34.3 billion initial public offering.
The group also received Transport Deal of the Year for its role in the PHP20 billion Metro Pacific Tollways bond issuance. The awards highlight Security Bank’s role in mobilising financing for critical infrastructure and supporting the Philippines’ energy transition through investments in renewable energy, water and transport infrastructure.
