Scatec Solar, along with its partners, has achieved financial closure for a 47 MW Redsol solar power plant project in northwest Malaysia entailing a total investment of nearly $47 million. The non-recourse project finance facility for the project (accounting for 73 per cent of the project cost) will be provided by BNP Paribas. The plant is likely to provide 67 GWh of electricity per year. The project was awarded in December 2017.
