The Government of Indonesia has allocated a budget of IDR15 trillion to repair regional roads in 2024 as a part of the Acceleration of Regional Roads Connectivity Improvement. The project will be divided into multiple phases with Phase 1 expected to be completed by July 2024. All repair works are scheduled to be completed in December 2024.
In 2023, the government allocated IDR14.7 trillion for road repair in all regions across Indonesia, except Jakarta and Central Kalimantan. A total of 3,140 roads including provincial and district roads and bridges with a total length of 2,700 metres were handled in 2023.
